Winchester "RIMFIRE GROOVE" Sight
The Winchester Model 9422 is a beautiful and reliable lever action .22 LR.
Our Rimfire sight adds approx. 10" of sight radius allowing easier sighting for more accurate shooting!
The SKINNER RIMFIRE sight is designed to be as simple and durable as possible with minimal bulk. My goal was to produce a sight that does NOT have protrusions, fragile clamps or require gunsmithing to install.
Consequently, our securing system requires close tolerances and is MAKE AND MODEL Specific.
Our RIMFIRE SIGHT is adjustable for windage and elevation, the same as our other SKINNER SIGHTS and comes with the wrenches needed to install and adjust.

Note from Andy: "Rimfire groove dimensions vary from model to model and sometimes even within the same model and serial number range. We fit every RIMFIRE sight to actual test rifles in the shop prior to finishing. 9422 22 Mag receivers tend to run a bit larger on the rimfire grooves. If some light fitting is necessary, use a 6" triangular "Slim" file and open it up a bit. Start by blunting the sharp edges on the sight dovetail. (not the rifle, only on the sight) then open the dovetail slope up till the sight will push on with firm thumb pressure. Tighten the pinch bolt and you are off to the races."
