Marlin 39 "RELIABLE" Sight
The Marlin 39 is one of those "Time Proven" designs that
has endeared itself to many during the past Century.
Our Skinner 39 Sight will look beautiful on your rifle!Ā The fast target acquisition of our aperture sight coupled with the low recoil .22lr makes this an incredibly fun combination to shoot!
This Model 39 sight works on the Model 39A, 39M and 39D rifles. It mounts using the two drilled and tapped holes on top of the receiver.
It is adjustable for both windage and elevation.Ā Most of the time it works with the factory front sight.Ā No gunsmithing is needed to mount the sight.
Ships with a .096" Aperture installed.Ā Accepts all 5 Skinner Aperture sizes.
The removable .096" aperture allows the marksman to use a fine aperture or a much larger ghost ring.Ā Other size apertures are available on ourĀ Accessories page.
Mounting screws and set screw wrench are included.
NOTE:Ā Model 39's made prior to about 1955 were not drilled and tapped for sight mounts.Ā There is a single screw on top which is a cartridge guide screw.Ā We do not recommend removing that screw as they are a bit fragile and difficult for some to re-install.Ā Ā
Sight measures .435" from the top of the receiver to the center of the aperture at its lowest setting.
