In response to YOUR needs, Marlin brought out the incredibleĀ GUIDE GUNĀ Series of rifles. These handy and quality riflesĀ have been a tremendous success with shooters all over theĀ world.
We offer the Guide Gun Owner a special set ofĀ SKINNER SIGHTSĀ that includes aĀ "RAMPED FRONT"Ā that isĀ .070" wide. This special front sight reduces snagging in theĀ scabbard and brush, is wide enough to see quickly yet narrowĀ enough to not obscure the target. Our Guide Front Sight is nicelyĀ serrated on the back to reduce glare.
For the newer Marlin Guide Rifles (all models of the Ruger Built Marlin 1895's) we offer this combination with our BEAR BUSTER front sight.Ā This sight is as rugged as the rifle, offers a quick and accurate sight picture, has a .080" wide blade.Ā Remember, with a post/patridge/blade type sight, the bullet impact is at the top of the blade, target is not obscuredĀ asĀ it is with a bead.
