XA = Extra aperture. This sight has a threaded hole in the forward "slope"
of the sight that allows an extra aperture to be easily stored and available for
those "changing light" conditions.

Much better than putting it in your pocket, ear, mouth, or other bodily orifice.

The XA comes standard with your choice of two aperture sizes.
